We
always name our pups around a theme. As you can
see this litter we chose names from the movie
"Men in Black."
When you purchase your puppy you can give us your
name choice and we will immediately rename the
puppy and start calling it by your chosen
name.
But for now - meet "K" K
is the puppy we have identified with a purple
collar.
She is a female. Healthy and of medium size.

K
has had her dew claws removed. She seems to
be winning the race for who has their eyes open
first. She's fighting the battle with
TommyLee for who's biggest so far.

Look who's
walking! K is up on all four and
exploring. Her eyes are open and she seems
to be very inquisitive. She's still neck and
neck with TommyLee for who is the
largest. Yellow labs are beautiful,
chocolate's look nice to and the various shades
from red to white in the yellow category are to be
desired but there's just something unbeatable
about a the glossy sheen of a healthy Black Lab
pup!
K's Collar is now white with a "K" on
it.

Brace
yourself for the cuteness of K. K is now
very mobile, but when she's out, she's out, so
she's still a good TV watching lapdog. She's
still even with TommyLee for who's the
biggest. She should be a nice big female.

DAY 23 OK,
I realize on Day 21 K wasn't actually that cute
yet, but 2 days later, she's gotten irresistibly
cute. This picture doesn't do her justice
but rather shows her getting started on her new
favorite past time - puppy food!

DAY 25 Did
I hold true on my promise? Is this an
irresistibly cute puppy - or what? And true
to form there she is eating. No wonder she's
giving Mick (TommyLee) such a good run for his
money in size. The entire time we were
outside K was having fun with this new fangled
contraption called a "food dish".
What fun she was having! DAY

DAY 28 K
was very interested in the food dish today.
All the pups were still very nervous about the
kitchen floor today. Their confidence level
is still very shaky when they are without their
littermates. Today was also their
first day outside in the "Dog House."
Everybody was very frightened of the big outdoors
so they spent the day curled up together in the
back of the dog house. We would post
pictures - but a puddle of black puppies in the
back corner of a dark doghouse doesn't lend itself
to much of a picture. They are outside for the day
and still come in for the night. DAY

DAY 30
We had visitors today. The puppies are really
starting to enjoy being outside and their
confidence level is soaring. They are
relaxed outside and are really starting to play
with each other and yes, they have started to chew
on things. Mostly each other at this point. Day

DAY 39
We had our first trip to the dugout today. Lots of
muddy feet, but lots of fun.

DAY 42
It's
been a busy week. Day 41 was Green Day - or in
more technical terms - tattoo day. All the
pups now have a nice tattoo in their ears for
permanent ID and Day 42 day was Vet Day -
everybody got to go for a car ride and a big
adventure.
K cannot believe it! She thought she was in
the running with Mick for the largest, but it
turns out Kelsey (J) beat both of them.
Seriously, these pups are all so close in size
it's anybody's guess as to who will be the biggest
one of the litter when they are adult
dogs.
K weighed in at 11 lbs, 15 oz. She took her
shot without a whimper, the vet gave her a
thorough check up and she is 100% healthy and good
to go!

taking a break from tree planting. K was
probably the least whiny of the crew yesterday as
the whole works ran up and down the tree line
while we planted 300 little spruce trees by
hand.
