SNOOPY
IS SOLD!
Her
name has been changed to Jesse and she is in her
new home in Ontario.
MAC X MAGGIE
Meet Snoopy and The Red Baron
Snoopy |
Red Baron
MEET SNOOPY and go
through the stages of her life from birth through
to her change into Jesse and her life with her new
owners!

Day 2
- Snoopy is a yellow female. She has had her
dew claws removed.
Snoopy and her brother, Baron, are both good sized
pups and we anticipate them
racing to catch up with "The
Gunfighters". Maggie has so much milk
and her pups tend to grow very quickly.
Snoopy is very feisty.
She also has something I've never come across
before - she has a tiny white triangle on her
forehead.
She is definitely 100% purebred Lab with no
possibility of any oopses so this marking must
be
a throwback from way down her ancestor tree.
If anyone looking at this site has any information
on other Labs with white markings in places other
than toes or chest please email me.
quickdraw@mts.net

Day 4 -
Jesse (Snoopy) has doubled in size in just 2 days
and is growing like crazy.
Day
6 - Jesse (Snoopy) is very feisty and
already crawls out of the basket, even though she
can't see yet.
Day 22
- Jesse (Snoopy)
Letters from Jesse's New Owners.
Hi
Sharalee, we arrived home last night with no
major problems except for a huge rain storm
between Kenora & Ignace. Jesse was
difficult for about the 1st hour, then settled
right in. Of course we made a few stops
for her (and for ourselves), worked well.
Last night, she whined a bit when we put her in
the kennel, but she slept for 6 hrs. Sure
hope that's a sign of all nights!! Anyway,
just wanted to let you know we're home and puppy
is doing good. Thank you for everything.
...Lisa
ps
don't forget the vet's paper and we'll let you
know within the next couple of days of the
names.

Hi
Sharalee: just thought I'd update you.
We've had 2 days of 'accident-free' !!
She's a fast learner, but STUBBORN
!!!!!! You must've taught her to sit, as
she does that well, her 'come' isn't there
yet, but I've enrolled her in puppy school
(probably for my sake more than hers).
She gets her 1st visit with her personal
vet next Sat Jul 5th.
As
soon as I download the pics from the camera,
I'll send you some. Pat swears she's
doubled in size already - not quite - but she
is growing.
Will
follow thru shortly with pics

Hi
Sharalee; here's some pics of the little
girl. Boy does she have a mind of her
own!!! BUT very intelligent. It only
took us 4 days to housebreak her.
We've had only 2-3 little accidents since.
She met her vet, is enrolled in puppy
kindergarten, HATES the leash, knows quite a
few words already, pen (for outside) kennel
for inside, sit, down, the stay I'm working
on, it'll come. She was afraid of the
stairs going to basement for our family
room, but now, she goes up/down no problem.

Hi
Sharalee: Things are good, last vet
visit she was 30 lbs.!!!! One more
shot in Sept, then spaying in October.
Jesse is very stubborn, a quick learner,
still chews on everything. I forgot
what it was like having a puppy. I'm
glad you talked me out of getting that 2nd
one. She's comfortable in her pen
outside and very comfortable with the
kennel inside. We even put her in
there when it's our supper time, so she
doesn't come around the table & 'beg'.
Here's some pictures from a few days ago,
we've got more but haven't downloaded them
from the camera yet, soon.... Pat tried to
send you a video, but it didn't go thru,
maybe too big.... Anyway I've got her
walking A LOT, min 30 min in the morning,
and again in the evening, so she's getting
enough exercise. Keep in
touch....Lisa

Hi
Sharalee: I have a question about
the pups, it's something I haven't come
across. Jesse 'whines' a lot,
Do/did any of your dogs do this
behaviour? I asked the vet, she
thinks maybe it's 'growing pains' but
I'm not so sure of it all the time.
/What do you think??
...Lisa
Hi
Lisa
Hmmm
Probably just the particular
personality of that pup. Her
father whines a lot too. It is
trying sometimes and does get on my
nerves - but he is also my favorite of
all our dogs. He has the most
personality - is easily the
smartest too. Maybe it has
something to do with intelligence
levels - they need more to stimulate
their mind and get bored easily?
Not sure - but I know Mac is the same
way. The older he gets the
better he is but he still does it even
now when he is very excited about
something and held back.
Sharalee
you
may be on to something there -
boredom - although we try to keep
her very busy, just sometimes we
can't spend 24/7 with her.
Thanks ... you may be on to
something there - boredom - although
we try to keep her very busy, just
sometimes we can't spend 24/7 with
her. Thanks for your input,
& good to know it's in the genes
!!! And yes; she has
personality and VERY SMART and
trying at times, but that's just the
puppy in her, we can deal with that
!!
Thanks
Sharalee, for your help
..Lisa
Hi Lisa
I'm
glad she is with you and you
appreciate her. It is the
best things in life that are
always the hardest to get (put up
with) - your patience with her
will be rewarded. Trust me
on that - I wouldn't trade Mac for
any other dog - even if some days
I'd like to strangle the squeak
out of him :) Jesse is
a very well bred dog - bred for
high intelligence and energetic
retrieving so like any fine
athlete - there's a bit more
maintenance - but a most
worthwhile product :)
Your
very welcome for the help - any
questions - anytime,ok?
Sharalee

Hi
Sharalee: we have a first !!!
Jesse's first tooth loss - -
bottom middle FYI
but
she still is a chewer/biter/shit.....
chews & gnaws on everything &
anything. I keep old face cloths
wet in the freezer, really helps her a
lot....
We
left her alone for the first time
tonight - we had a party to go to -
she did well for over 4 hrs in her
kennel, but boy she sure was glad when
we got home !!!
...just
an update....Lisa
***************************************
Hi
Sharalee: Just thought I'd
share these 2 pictures......BTW -
she's teething big time &
kindergarten classes are going
great!!
***************************************
Hi
Sharalee: just going thru my
files and noticed we haven't
received 2 certificates yet:
Purebred Dog Certificate of
Registration (we have Mac &
Maggie) and Hip Dysplasia
Certificate (we have Zip &
Babe). I guess it really
isn't that important, but I'd
rather make sure I have them -
just me being a bit anal !!
BTW
- Jesse is scheduled for spaying
in October, growing like a weed,
starting to really listen & obey
-that's the key word. I walk
her 2x daily & sometimes I
ride my bicycle and she's on the
leash, so she gets a real good run
.
That's
about it for now, hope to hear
from you. How's her
brother doing?? Is he
getting big also??
...Lisa

Hi
Sharalee: we were at the
vets last Saturday, you wouldn't
believe the little porker!!!!
she weighs 49.5 lbs !!!
But the vet didn't say anything
about being overweight, cause
she looks really good Hope
you don't mind me sending
photos, I'm not sure what others
do, but I just think you might
be interested in the
progress of your pups!!
BTW....
she goes in Oct 27 for spaying

Hey
Sharalee: officially now we
have a multi-cultural puppy:
Patrick being Irish, me being
Italian, dog being Canadian
(Labrador) and she loves a
Finn sauna;. she
didn't want us in by
ourselves tonight, so we gave
her a bath and she just sat on
the bench, just like she
belonged!!!!
unbelievable, just wanting to
be with us ! she's an
unbelievable puppy, not afraid
of anything (so far) takes to
everything like it was a
natural thing to do....we are
very pleased with our choice
of breeder !!
thank
you
....Lisa
