Meet Black and Decker

MEET DECKER and go through the stages of her life.
DECKER IS SOLD!
Her new name is Koyuki (Little Snow)

2 days - Decker eats and sleeps - lots of milk available so she has grown noticeably since she was born.

22 days - Decker (Koyuki) is walking and starting to be very affectionate already.

37 days - Black & Decker were both taken to the vets for an early check.  Black had an ever so slightly noticeable weakness in her hind end and we thought we'd have the vet take a look at her as we had someone who was very interested in putting a deposit on her and we wanted to make sure she was 100%.  We were shocked to find out that the weakness in her hind end was a non-issue but that she had a heart murmur.  A severe one.  And we were even more shocked to learn that Decker also had a heart murmur - though not as serious as Black's.  The vet suggested waiting and checking Decker (Koyuki) again in a few weeks.   Koyuki continued to grow and put on weight - her energy was high and she was strong and healthy.  Her prospective owners were informed of the murmur and of the vet's advice. We took her for her 2nd check and the vet said nothing had changed.  Decker (Koyuki) had almost doubled in size, her pulse was strong and she was getting good oxygen but the murmur was still the same.  The vet recommended waiting again.  We informed Decker's buyer of the situation and they chose to take Koyuki even with the risk. 

 We have fully guaranteed her so if something does happen to her she will be replaced with another pup and the buyers are happy with this arrangement.   
Koyuki is now in her new home with her "big Brother" Tetsu.

Unfortunately we can no longer say we have never sold a puppy with major health issues - however we will not knowingly sell a puppy to anyone without disclosing everything we know about that pup - and we will strive to do our best to ensure that we do not have more pups with any health issues.  While this should be every breeders goal, it is not always possible to prevent problems - it is only possible to handle them in a straightforward manner.

Our new policy will be to have all pups checked for murmurs when they go for dew claws at 2 days old.

If you are looking for a pup for future breeding purposes the prices start at $1200
And we require some guidelines be met - we also advertise on our website for those who buy our pups and breed them responsibly or for those that breed to our stud dog.

We have very flexible delivery arrangements available. 
We also accept the following trades for our pups.
Cattle, including heifers, calves and steers and cattle handling equipment (corral panels, squeeze gates, feeders, etc.).  Also broke horses, reg QH, paint or Appaloosa foals.  And tack, including harness, saddles, buggies, sleighs, etc.
