PLEASE NOTE! This video was taken by my
daughter while she longed Hank who hadn't been
worked with for a couple weeks - she put the
saddle on him and then longed him with one
hand, while holding the camera in the other
(no longe whip) so there are a lot more verbal
cues than normal and his longing is not
perfect :) But it does show his
temperamant and his reaction to a first
saddling.
 
Hank
is an extremely calm, easy to get along with
Cremello stud colt. He stands quietly for
haltering and is very easy to catch. He
stands tied, has been handled lots and is
coming along very nicely with lunging and
giving to pressure.
This is the type of
colt you can do anything with. Hank's
price is $1250 through the fall of 2007. It will increase to
to $1800 when he is greenbroke, then to
$2000 - $2500 when he is
finished.
Hank's lessons this summer will include leading, standing tied, being
brushed, flagged, saddled, bridled, longed and
ponied. Also
trailering and loading.
He will be approx. 15HH when he is full grown.
He
would make an excellent 4H project horse as he
has an extremely quiet disposition.
