JOHNNY - Tattoo# VKO5P

3 1/2 weeks: Johnny is
one of the smaller pups.
He's very busy and the first to learn to walk and
sit up.
5
weeks: Johnny is still one of the smaller
pups, very cute and very active. He is
getting extra time with mom to try and boost his
size a bit.
He likes exploring.
6
weeks: Johnny is still small. He is very
curious and prefers to wander off after the cats,
rather than eat. He can be cuddly, but can
also be very independent.
7
Weeks: Johnny's been for his vet check and
the vet says he has a heart murmur. She says
it can very easily be something he will
outgrow. Time will tell. He is very
rambunctious, but this could be why he hasn't put
much weight on.
10
week update: Johnny has been quite sick
lately and we feared he would not make it.
We babied him and had him in the house quite a
bit. Our thoughts were that he would not
live more than a couple of days and as long as he
wasn't suffering we would just enjoy him and let
him live out the end of his life. BUT John
has made an amazing recovery and he is full of
life once more. It is still our intention to
keep Johnny, but if the right home could be found,
we would consider selling him. He seems to
be the smartest of the litter and he is definitely
the cutest. We don't anticipate that he will
grow to a full size. Johnny needs lots of
rest and he loves lots of attention.
When he's feeling good he's very energetic and
when he's not feeling well he likes to be held or
just sit near people.

15 week update: JonJon's health bounced back and
forth, but inevitably he got weaker and weaker
until we were forced to make a decision to put him
down. We thoroughly enjoyed JonJon the last
few weeks. He stayed in the house, had his
own kennel, watched TV with us and was allowed
lots of behaviors we don't normally allow pups to
get away with. At the last he was EXTREMELY thin
and didn't eat very much . JonJon did not like to
eat from his dish, but preferred to walk around
and "find" his food, so we fed him by
walking around dropping pieces of cheese, scraps
of meat, etc. for him to find. He got to watch a
lot of TV with us, and was allowed to lie under
the table and sit on our big comfy armchair while
I worked during the day. It was with great
sadness we made the decision to put him
down. We buried him in a special place, with
my favourite sweatshirt at our new farm.
